I don't know if anyone ever has the chance to vacation in Central Florida but...
If you're in Kissimmee, head for the fishing pier at Brinson Park at Lake Toho (on Neptune Road). Cast off the sides of the pier right into the thick vegetation between 1' and 10' from the shore. Craw and creature baits in junebug (Netbait Paca Craw works well) and spinnerbaits in golden shiner work best. I've pulled bass between 5 and 9 lbs. out of this small area. If you're on the Irlo Bronson freeway headed toward Disney, stop by the Shingle Creek park and toss a squarebill crankbaot in bluegill or a creature bait in junebug for some decent bass. I get a chance to do this every so often when we vacation, and it's nice to have one or two rods that I can use for an hour or two in the mornings to catch some decent Florida-strain largemouths. .
